(iCandy) pink ruffles

Dear JCrew and Anthropologie,
I just wanted to thank you for bringing ruffles back.  I love them.  They are so feminine and frilly and wonderful.  They bring a smile to my face and a little 'pop' to my wardrobe.  And they provided us crafty bloggers with so many DIY versions of your clothes.  Especially T's. And skirts.

Here is a ruffled-up pink skirt, paired with the Valentine's Day giveaway necklace.  All I did was add long gathered strips to the bottom of a simple elastic waist a-line skirt.  What a difference a ruffle makes!
